      Joy M. Gänder, CPCU, ARM – Principal

Joy provides independent risk management and employee benefits consulting services to public-sector, corporate, and association clients.  With nearly 20 years of experience, much of her time is devoted to conducting risk management analyses, evaluating and marketing employee benefits programs, making presentations, authoring articles, and acting as the outsourced risk manager for several clients.

 

She is a member of the Society of Risk Management Consultants.  She is also a member of the Dairyland Chapter of the Society of CPCU.  Joy received her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations in 1989 and 1994, respectively.  Joy is a graduate of UW-Madison with a BBA in Risk Management and Marketing.

 

Joy joined the faculty of the UW-Madison School of Business as lecturer for the course, “Property Risk Management 610,” during 2002, 2005, and again for the 2006 fall semester.  She is also a guest lecturer for the UW-Madison School of Medicine Physiology 675 Masters of Science course, “Business of Biotechnology Fundamentals.”

 

Janet M. Topper – Risk Analyst

Janet has over 14 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Her background includes being a project assistant to the president of a risk management and insurance consulting firm; executive assistant to a bank CEO, which included providing support for the bank’s risk management program.  Janet has also been a personal lines insurance agent.  She assists consultants with all aspects of client insurance programs, including but not limited to risk management audits, marketing of property and casualty and employee benefits programs, and evaluating submissions.

 

Janet received a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance from the UW-Madison.
